About the author
Sabrina Jean Baptiste is a Mental Health Counselor in Brooklyn, Ny and the creator of Blackandexxtraordinary Designs by Sabrina. My Black is Gold was inspired to enhance the uniqueness and beauty of black and brown girls. As a Haitian-American woman, Sabrina has provided mental health services with many children in which identifying their positive traits was a major goal in treatment. My Black is Gold was created to embrace those positive traits, no matter how different you are to society. Self love is the best type of love.
Sabrina has a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling. As a coping skill, Sabrina enjoys journaling and views it as a positive coping skill in which lead to the creation of Blackandexxtraordinary Designs by Sabrina.
